WILLIAMS, MARGRET LOUISEMemorial graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park for Margret Louise Williams, age 92, formerly of Roswell who passed away May 19, 2013. Rev. Troy Grant of Berrendo Baptist Church will officiate.
Margret was born March 13, 1921 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Claude and Mary McCausland. They have preceded her in death as well as all of her siblings and two grandsons.
Margret married B.F. Williams in Roswell, New Mexico on August 20, 1940. He has also preceded her in death.
Margret is survived by two sons: Gary W. Williams and his wife Mary of Artesia, NM and Ronald D. Williams of San Antonio, TX one daughter: Teri Dodson and her husband Mike of Carlsbad, NM and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margret worked at St. Marys Hospital as a Cashier. She enjoyed good food, company, and jokes. She enjoyed laughter and spending time with family and her dogs. She believed in hard work, a calm home life and taking care of family.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Dodson, Matt Conn, Jeff Youtsey, Justin Bilberry and Zack Putman.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the New Mexico State University Carlsbad for Excellence, 1500 University Drive, Carlsbad, NM 88220. Margret supported going back to school and this is a way for her to continue to be supportive.
