FOWLER, MARGUERITE IRENE Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2008 at First United Methodist Church for Marguerite Irene Fowler, age 90, of Roswell, who passed away September 8, 2008. Rev. Gorton Smith of First United Methodist will officiate.

Marguerite was born December 16, 1917 in Roswell, NM to Gus and Nellie Lemp, they have preceded her in death.

Marguerite married Thomas Tommy Fowler on July 3, 1936 in Roswell. He also has preceded her in death.

Marguerite is survived by her son: Thomas Eddie Fowler and his wife Mary Beth of Capitan; a daughter: Jeannette Fowler Herndon of Ruidoso, NM; four grandchildren: Cathy Marchel, Dean Fowler, Jack Herndon Jr. and Tom Herndon; eight great grandchildren: Haleigh Marchel, Lexie Marchel, Tanner Marchel, Trevor Fowler, Payton Fowler, Ashley Herndon, Parker Herndon and Lexie Herndon.

Marguerite and Tommy were the owners of Fowler Van Lines. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Masonic Widows, Red Hats, previous State Treasurer for Cactus Sam of Roswell, and the Ruidoso Jockey Club.

Pallbearers will be, Dean Fowler, Jack Herndon Jr., Tom Herndon, Justin Marchel, Bill Bonham and Virgil Beagles.
