Maria Manibusan

MANIBUSAN, MARIA AGNESA Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Monday, March 12, 2007 at St. Peter Catholic Church for Maria Manibusan, age 54, of Roswell, who passed away March 9, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. The Resurrection Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Fr. Benedict Begin, OFM of St. Peter Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Maria was born May 15, 1952 on the island of Guam, a United States Territory, to John and Ana Manibusan. They both have preceded her in death. Maria came to Roswell in 1965.

She is survived by a sister, Annie Manibusan of Roswell.

Maria had a wonderful outlook on life. She attended Santa Barbara School in Guam. She graduated from Roswell High School and attended E.N.M.U. at Portales. Maria was an Accounts payable clerk for Heyco, Harvey E. Yates Co. She was well liked and made many friends there. Maria was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister. She suffered from a long illness and never complained. She taught us how to live and die.
