BECKER, MARIAN DELOALAs dusk was falling on Friday, June 27, 2008, Marian Deloal Becker softly and quietly passed away at home with her daughter and oldest son by her side. She had spent a full day surrounded by family and longtime friends who dropped by her home to wish her well or to say good-bye. Deloal Beckers last day was filled with love, life, and laughter.
Deloal spent her last week of life resting in her bed that had been set up with the best view of her natural flower-filled garden patio. Her six grandchildren had lovingly planted the flowers this spring. About 20 minutes after Deloal left her body on Friday evening, her open-air backyard patio was filled with Mourning Doves who gathered near her favorite area by her waterfall. One dove cautionly walked onto the covered patio, hopped on the back of a chair, and peered inside the home where Deloal lay on her bed. It remained on the chair watching Deloal while a second dove lifted its wings and carefully maneuvered 2 full circular flights inside the patio. Her children, Ron Becker and Cari Becker, watched in wonder. Moments later, the entire group of Mourning Doves on both patios gently flew away. Ron said the doves lifted his mothers soul to Heaven. Both Ron and Cari believe that because their mothers heart was so big, it took many doves to carry her soul away.
Deloals eighty years of life were spent with a primary focus on family. Her six grandchildren, Cody and Colton Becker, Kathryn and Forrest Becker and Royce and Derek Becker Briggs, brought her joy and laughter. Deloal was exceptionally close with her only sister Yvonne Baca, as well as with the entire Baca family. She enjoyed holidays and vacations with her children and their partners, her parents when they were alive her grandchildren, her sister and her sisters husband, and her nieces and nephews.
Deloal Becker follows her parents Grady and Dona Lovelady, her husband Robert William Becker, and her son Robert Myron Becker to the source of life and love in Heaven. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date when family and friends can gather together.
