Marilyn Ahlen

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church for Marilyn Ann Petrie Ahlen, age 84, of Roswell who passed away on September 19, 2013. Rev. Glen Tryrion will officiate.

Marilyn was born December 31, 1928 in Madison, Wisconsin to Raymond Petrie and Dorothy Elizabeth Ward. They have preceded her in death.

Marilyn married Jack Ahlen in 1951 in Milwaukie, Wisconsin. He survives her at the family home.

Marilyn is also survived by sons: Jon Ahlen and Eric Ahlen and his wife Patricia daughters: Dawn Ahlen Willis and her husband Robert, Connie Ahlen Boyer and her husband Donald and Amy Ahlen DePauw and her husband Ralph brother: Richard Petrie grandchildren: Jeffery Ahlen, Ward J.A. Willis, Marc Ahlen and his wife De nice, Heike Ahlen Wright and her husband Bryan, Kelly Boyer, Robin Boyer, Benjamin DePauw and his wife Virginia, Kathleen DePauw Parish and her husband Simon, Nicholas Ahlen, Duncan Ahlen, Ian Ahlen
great grandchildren: Colin Ahlen, Paige Ahlen, Teagan Wright, Cameran Gates, Cadin Gates, Kara DePauw, Jack DePauw and Parker Parish.

Marilyn was a Master Teacher. She taught for 30 years in the Pecos Valley Schools, Hondo, El Capitan, Nancy Lopez and Gateway. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
