Mario Zapata

Mario Zapata was born in Chihuahua Mexico on October 20,1985 to Rita and Manuel Zapata.

Visitation for Mario will be from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2022 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel and Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Mario was a loving father, son, and brother. He was a hard worker, loved to cook and spend free time with his family. At the time of his passing, Mario was employed by Savanna Drilling.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mario Zapata of Roswell, NM who passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the age of 36. Leaving behind his mother, Rita Zapata; partner, Clarissa Zapata following his children Dioselyn Zapata, Azalyn Zapata, Azariah Zapata, Mario Zapata Jr, Amoriah Zapata, and Malyah Zapata; sister, Claudia Zapata following her children, Raquel Mondragon, Zamiera Zapata, and Giovanni Mccall; sister, Mireya Zapata following her children Mercedes Velasco, Mylela Velasco, and Mattangelo Velasco. Mario was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Zapata, and his brother, Oscar Zapata.

Serving as pallbearers are Zamiera Zapata, Mercedes Velasco, Azalyn Zapata, Ramon Zapata, Tony Sarmiento, Juan Rodriguez, Eric Linares, and Miguel Cabrales.
