CLARK, MARY JANEMary Jane Clark, 72, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at UNM hospital on August 4, 2013. Her final days were spent with all of her children by her side. A rosary is scheduled to be recited at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, August 16, 2013 at St. Peters Church. A memorial mass will then follow at 11:00 A.M., at St. Peters Church.

She was born November 20, 1940 in Nebraska City, NE to Anton and Margret Sasse. She had three siblings, Pauline Kenny Kreifels, Ed Cleora Sasse, and Madeline Sasse all of whom survive her.

Mary Jane married James E. Clark on February 15, 1966. They were blessed with four children, Greg Teresa Clark and Brian Deborah Clark of Albuquerque, Scott Tina Clark of Roswell and Shelly Jon Botch of Twin Falls, ID. Mary Jane and her husband moved to Roswell, NM in 1975 and vowed to remain there until all their children graduated from high school. Shortly after moving to Roswell, Mary Jane found a job that allowed her to do to something she loved which was to sew. She began working at Levi Strauss where she remained for over 20 years, until Levis closed their doors for good. Following her retirement, she continued to sew clothing, dolls, etc. which she than donated to St. Peters Church for their community closet and various church bazaars. She loved her church and became very active following her retirement from Levis.

Mary Jane looked forward to every opportunity she had to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was blessed with 10 beautiful grandchildren whom she loved to fullest Brittney Rusty Seger, Savannah Tyson Rigdon, Kiersten Clark, Bryleigh Clark, Hannah Clark, Ashley Clark, William Botch, Anthony Botch, Jonathan Botch and Amanda McClure.

Mary Jane is survived by all of her children, siblings, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James Clark and her parents Anton and Margret Sasse. She will be greatly missed by her entire family, but we are comforted in knowing that she is in heaven and in will always be in our hearts.
