Mary Gray-Blanchard

BLANCHARD, MARY BERNEICE GRAY Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 5, 2010, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Mary Berneice GrayBlanchard, age 95, who passed away June 3, 2010. Pastor Randy Reeves will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Mary was born on September 16, 1914 to CC Grisham and Annie Sylvester Grisham at Round Mountain, Texas. They have preceded her in death as well as one brother, Vyron Grisham and one son, Carl Glyn Gray.

Mary married Alvie C. Gray on March 18, 1933. He passed away on November 22, 1971. She then married Jim Blanchard on March 19, 1976 and also passed away on December 2, 1992.

Mary had eleven children: Charles Gray and wife Joyce of Weatherford, OK, Koleta and husband Bobby Mayfield of Springfield, OR, John and wife Verla of Boonesville, IA, George Gray and wife Clara Jo of Springfield, OR, Lillie and husband Roy Prescott of Abilene, TX, Sallie Silvestri of Roswell, Leroy Gray and wife Joyce of Roswell, Carl Glyn Gray and wife Julie of Rising Star, TX, Walter Gray and wife Bernie of Mesa, AZ, Edward Rusty Gray and wife Pamela of Roswell and Kermitt Gray and wife Janet of Roswell. Also a special adopted son, Ernie Wright of Roswell. She had a total of 147 grandkids, great grandkids and greatgreat grandkids.

Mary worked at the adult care centers and Goddard School Cafeteria. She was a very active member of Washington Avenue Baptist church. She was a faithful member who loved her Lord and Savior. She was the most wonderful mother that ever lived.

Pallbearers will be grandsons of the family.
