Mary Sanchez

Mary Miranda Sanchez, March 17, 1941 ~ July 9, 2017. A viewing will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 20, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Rosary and Mass 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Peter Church with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Mary was born in Mountainair, NM on March 17, 1941 to Manuel Miranda and Jesusita Romero Miranda. She married her high school sweetheart/soldier boy, Carmel Sanchez on October 24, 1964 in Mountainair, NM. Mary was a teaching associate and she enjoyed volunteering in the many communities she lived. Singing in the church choir and her most treasured memories was the time she spent spoiling her grandkids. She was a member of St. Peter Parish.

She is preceded in death in by her parents, her husband, her daughter Cheryl Autrey, and sister's Connie and Lucy.

Mary is survived by her children: Carmel James (Cheryl) Sanchez, Maxine (Luis) Hernandez, and Gene Autrey (Son-in-law). Her siblings: Carmen Villescas, Porfino Miranda, Manuel Miranda, Eloy Miranda, Lillie Chavez. Seven grandchildren: Michael, Celia, Eric, Demitri, Dylan, Ryan, Alyssa, and a host of other great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and dear friends.
