Mary Kay Clements

CLEMENTS, MARY- Heaven rejoiced Sunday night when another soul was welcomed home. Mary Katherine Clements joined her Lord and the choir of angels on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Mary was born on January 11, 1938 to Lloyd Dean and Annie Phifer Dean in Bradshaw, Texas. She was raised in McAdoo, Texas where she graduated in 1954.

Mary held several interesting jobs during her lifetime and the two she treasured most were the 11+ years she and her first husband were foster parents at Hermosa Heights Children’s home in Artesia. The other was being an auditor for the NM Tax and Revenue Service. Mary was very talented a professional seamstress, loved trying all types of crafts and was a great cook.

Mary married Joe Clements on September 1, 2001 in Roswell. They enjoyed traveling before their health started failing.

She is survived by her husband of the home, daughter and son-in-law Marla and Russ Rogers of Midland, son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Kathy Ives of Roswell. She has two stepsons, Clyde and Robert Clements and one stepdaughter, Vicky Ward. The love of her life was her 5 grandsons, Jeremy Rogers, Jacob Ives, Caleb Ives, Dillon Rogers and Joshua Ives. Mary also is survived by 4 step grandchildren and two great grandsons.
