Maude Ingram

INGRAM, MAUDE -- Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 30, 2009, at First Church of Nazarene, for Maude Ingram, age 88, of Roswell, who passed away April 27, 2009 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Rev. Garth Hyde of the First Church of Nazarene will officiate. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Maude was born May 26, 1920 in Hollene, New Mexico, to Albert and Emma Bales Chandler. Both parents preceded her in death.

She married Paul Ingram on May 19, 1936 in Hollene, NM. Paul preceded her in death in 1958, as well as an infant son, Gerald Ingram.

Survivors include 2 sons; Mike Ingram and his wife Sheila of Phoenix, AZ, and Roy McKay and his wife Charolette of Roswell, a daughter; Betty Bailey, she was the daughter she never had, of Broadview, NM, and a sister; Frances Latham of Houston, Missouri. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; Paul and Michelle Ingram, Keith and Dawn Ingram, of San Antonio, TX, Dean and Veronica Ingram, Crystal and Aris Johnson, Stephanie and Herb Cook all of Phoenix, AZ, and Kyle and Sheri Roberts of Oklahoma City, OK, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Paul Ingram, Keith Ingram, Dean Ingram, Steve Bailey, Lee Adams, and Doyle Easley. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Saturday morning coffee club, Ray and Fran Farley, Virgil and Lillian Haley, E.J. and Virginia Bennett, Bud and Sandy Bennett.

Maude had been owneroperator of the Navajo Motel for over 30 years, before her retirement. She worked in the Roswell School system assisting with Food Service for several years. She was a Lifetime member of First Church of Nazarene, and was a Sunday School teacher.

She really enjoyed the Arizona Diamond Back Baseball games, and also the Phoenix Suns Basketball games on TV, and even attended several. She loved to entertain, and enjoyed her many friends. She loved playing table games. She will be missed greatly by all that knew her.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6 PM, Wednesday, April 29, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
