SCOTT, MAURICE DAVID FRENCHY PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY ON NOVEMBER 20, 2009. HE WAS BORN ON DEC 23, 1944 IN SAINT JOHN NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA. HIS FAMILY MOVED TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN 1960. HE ENLISTED IN THE US MILITARY AT AGE OF 17 AND SERVED IN THE SPECIAL FORCES IN VIET NAM. HE WORKED AS A LONG DISTANCE TRUCKER UNTIL HIS RETIREMENT. THIS SUITED HIS NOMADIC PERSONALITY. HE SETTLED IN ROSWELL APPROXMATELY IN 2005 AND PERSUED HIS PASSION FOR MOTORCYCLES. HE ACQUIRED HIS BEST BUDDY CHINEE A BLACK SHARPEI AND LATER CINNAMON. MAURICE WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS FATHER ROY SCOTT AND MOTHER CORINNE SCOTT. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS SISTER ESTELLE COMEAU AND NEPHEW HARRY COMEAU OF CANADA, AS WELL AS TWO AUNTS, ONE UNCLE AND SEVERAL COUSINS WHO RESIDE IN DIGBY COUNTY NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA.

MAURICE SCOTT WILL BE BURIED NEAR HIS MOTHER AND OTHER RELATIVES IN DIGBY COUNTY NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA RETURNING TO HIS ACADIAN ROOTS.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT LAGRONE FUNERAL CHAPEL ON WEDNESDAY, DEC 2, 2009 AT 11:00 AM, 900 SOUTH MAIN ST. ROSWELL NEW MEXICO. FR PEPE REDINBO WILL OFFICATING.
