Maxie Jeter

JETER, MAXIE H. Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Saturday July 22, 2006, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Maxie H. Jeter, age 84, of Roswell, who passed away July 18, 2006 at a local care center. Rev. Dare Stevens of First United Methodist Church will officiate.

Maxie was born March 19, 1922 in Canton, Texas, to George F. Jeter and Ola T. Jeter. Who have both preceded him in death.

On June 27, 1946 Maxie and Margaret were married in Sherman, Texas. She survives him at the family home.

He is also survived by one son: Bob M. Jeter; one daughter: Carolyn Ashley and son-in-law Bob Ashley; two grandchildren: Holly Mitchell and Rebecca Burt; and three great grandchildren: Chance Mitchell, Austin Burt and Katie Burt.

Maxie enjoyed fishing, RVing, and watching football with Margaret.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
