Mildred Arnold

Mildred Nannette “Aunt Nannette” Arnold, age 71, passed from this life on April 2, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM.

Nannette is preceded in death by her parents “Bill” and Maurine Arnold, beloved brother-in-law Dale Robertson as well as 32 aunts and uncles.

Nannette worked in health care for most of her life. She worked with Community Homecare, New Mexico Rehabilitation Center, Roswell Nursing Home, Sunset Villa, and Fort Stanton Hospital for special needs adults. Nannette was a caregiver for all even when not at work. Her heart and her home were open to all that needed help. Nannette was an avid dog lover and bred Chihuahuas for many years. She never forgot a birthday.

Nannette is survived by her brother Clinton Arnold and his children Rob, Alisha, Wesley, Debbie, Tom and Adrian of Oklahoma; brother Cecil and Sandra Arnold and their children January and Rebbeca of New Mexico; brother Johnny and Joan Arnold and their children Laura Ann, Charlie, Cristina, and Andrea of New Mexico; sister Nancy and Larry Benson and children Vance and Michelle of Tennessee; and sister Christine Raines and children Amanda and Wyatt of New Mexico, as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was a second grandmother to her great nieces Cidney Rae Benta, Raquel Marie McCarty, and Mya Gene Gant. Nannette loved, loved, loved little Wyatt Van.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at South Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Roswell Humane Society or an animal rescue of your choosing.
