Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at South Park Cemetery for Mildred Maxine Isler Kinman, age 89 of Roswell, who passed away November 12, 2011.
Mildred was born February 10, 1922 in Quail, Texas to Jesse and Oda Isler. They have both preceded her in death.
Mildred was one of six children that homesteaded east of Roswell, moving to the JP White Farm east of Roswell in 1936, and then to the East Deming home in 1940. While living on the JP White Farm, the family worked in the fields chopping and picking cotton. Surviving siblings are Dora Pirtle and her husband Darrell, Jackie Price, and Bill Isler. She was preceded in death by Dub Isler and Winfred Isler.
Mildred worked during World War II at the Rationing Board Office. She also worked for the Public Service Company for many years. She also worked for several years as a clerk at Anthonys Department Store. She worked as the night clerk for Tommy and Sam LaGrone at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. She retired from Arrow Gas Company as payroll clerk after 30 years of service.
She is also survived by her children: Myron Kinman and his wife Susan of Clovis, New Mexico, Joy Wagner and her husband Jerry of Roswell, and Wayne Kinman and his wife Deena of Elida, New Mexico Grandchildren: Susie Greene, Jessie Kinman, Michael Kinman and his wife Elizabeth, Christina Kinman, Jon Grider and his wife Shelly, Sasha Trujillo and her husband Robert Megan Kitchens, Samantha Reed, Tara Kinman and fiance Rylan Edgmon, Ty Kinman, Shay Wagner and wife Jerolyn, and Travis Wagner and wife Jameie also 24 greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Shay Wagner, Travis Wagner, Michael Kinman, Jessie Kinman, and Jon Grider.
The family would like to thank the ENMMC staff on Critical Care and Medical Floor, and especially Dr. Loos for the compassionate care that they extended Mom during her short stay.
