Mona Garlinger

GARLINGER, MONA M. A Resurrection Mass is scheduled for 9:30 am, Saturday October 30, 2010 at Assumption Catholic Church for Mona M. Garlinger, age 80, of Roswell, who passed away October 21, 2010 at her home. Fr. Andrew Miles will officiate with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Mona was born March 23, 1930 in Whalen, Minnesota, to Carl G. and Tillie Thompson Storlie. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as two sons, John J and Thomas L. Garlinger, and a daughterinlaw Valerie Garlinger.

She married George Garlinger on Sept. 16, 1948 in Roswell. He passed away in 2007.

Survivors include 4 sons George W. Garlinger, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Roswell, Charles Garlinger of Roswell, Robert A. Garlinger and wife Cathy of Edgewood, NM, and David L. Garlinger, and a daughter, Carol A. Sutt and her husband Juri of Richardson, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren.

Mona was a member of Assumption Parish, and was a avid bowler.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Colin Sutt, Derek Sutt, Eric Garlinger, John Drew Garlinger, Bobby Garlinger and Travis Garlinger.
