Nellie Ramey

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at South Park Cemetery for Nellie Mae Ramey, age 94, of Roswell, who passed away on May 25, 2013. Visitation will be from 910:30 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Nellie was born on April 22, 1919 in McKinney, Texas to David and Leona Fisher.
She married William Ramey in McKinney, Texas in 1934. She moved to Roswell in 1941. She was a member of Central Assembly of God Church, was a housewife, loved her children and her family very much, and enjoyed gardening. Nellie was known by many people as Grannie. She has watched numerous kids throughout her years, and will be missed by all of her family.

She is survived by one son: Harold Ramey and wife Eula of Roswell one daughter: Sandra Sue Martin of Roswell also 12 grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and numerous GreatGreat Grandchildren.

She has been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sons: Charley Ramey and W.D. Ramey and three sisters: Dennie Evans, Betty Worley, and Nancy McCann one brother: James Fisher.
