Every once in a while the Lord brings a special person to this earth to serve others. Our Aunt Nikki was one of those special persons, she had the ability to make each niece and nephew feel they were her very favorite! Aunt Nikki was a very accomplished person who excelled at every level, she graduated from St. Mary's nursing school in 1961 and spent her entire career of 31 years as an O.R nurse at St. Mary's Hospital.
Aunt Nikki was known throughout New Mexico as an outstanding, fast pitch, pitcher and coach. In 1968 she was awarded most valuable player and outstanding pitcher in the Cactus Reginal Tournament held in Tucson, AZ. Aunt Nikki was also an accomplished hunter and fisherman enjoying each and every outing with nieces and nephews always with her.
One of Aunt Nikki's greatest pleasures was the act of giving, loving and sharing. This is one Lady who will be remembered always and forever.
Nikki was born on January 10, 1929 to Octaviano and Guadalupe Reyes in Roswell, NM.
Nikki is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by many, many special nieces and nephews.
