Nicholas Burr

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2013 at South Park Cemetery for a great light that has left this world, Nicholas Randall Burr, age 28, of Austin and formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. Pastor Wayne Brazil of Highland Baptist Church will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.

We were blessed to have him in our lives, loving Son, grandson, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, and an inspiration to those blessed to have known him. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he will shine in our hearts forever and we will forever remember his voice, laughter, the smile that lit up the room and his genuine love. God gave you to us and now He has called you home. You were an amazing young man and you have left your mark on our hearts forever. We will cherish every memory, every laugh, every smile and every comforting conversation. Nick, you had a big heart who loved your family and friends.

Nick was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather, Dan Burr greatgrandparents, Bobby Jones and Leroy Burke Kiku Oki Kennedy, Vern Opa Kennedy, Pegg Burr, Spencer Burr, and dear friends Richard Hollingshead and Melody Simmons and many other family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish Nicholas memory are his father, Randall Burr his mother, Sandra BurkeMoody stepfather, Calvin Moody sister, Kali Burr and Nephew Kace Cougot brother, Brandon Hollingshead grandmothers, Juxi Burr and Janice Jones grandfather, Keith Burke greatgrandmothers, Joy Burke and Eunice Edwards greatgrandfather, Carl Edwards and numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set for a memorial bench to be placed at Dick Nichols park, for loved ones to honor him. The fund has been set up through any WELLS FARGO BANK, Memorial for Nicholas Burr, or under the name of Calvin Moody or Sandra Lynn Moody.
