Norm Snider

SNIDER, NORM Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Berrendo Baptist Church for Norm Snider, age 77, who passed away February 26, 2010. Rev. Troy Grant of Berrendo Baptist Church will officiate.

Norm was born on April 1, 1932 to Pete and Molly Snider in Wheatland, Wyoming, who have both preceded him in death, as well as a brother Rudy Snider.

After being born in Wheatland, Wyoming they moved to Longmont, CO, then to Victorville, CA, where he graduated from high school. He worked for the telephone co in Victorville until he retired in 1991. He moved to Roswell in 1992. He enjoyed golfing, being actively involved in Jinglebobs telephone Pioneers and he was a member of the Elks. He repaired talking books for the blind as a part of Jinglebobs.

He is survived by his wife: Catherine Snider daughter: Pam Snider of Virginia Beach, VA son: Matthew Snider and his wife Carlee of Ogden, Utah Brother: Bill Snider and his wife Pat of Nampa, Idaho Sisters: Darlene Enzian of Roswell, Bernette Doran and her husband Jim of Trappe, Maryland, Linda Goodman and her husband Russ of Caldwell, Idaho and Marilyn Swiderski and her husband Ed of St. George, Utah Grandchildren: Timberlie Warner of Yucca Valley, CA, Randi Dill of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Stephanie Fischer, Chase and Chad Snider both of Ogden, Utah and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2625 Pennsylvania, NE 225, Albuquerque, NM 87110
