Otto Schwarzer

SCHWARZER, OTTOOtto was born August 25, 1930 in Gersau, Switzerland to Otto Schwarzer and Adelheid Baggenstos Schwarzer. Both parents preceded him in death.

Having been educated in Switzerland, he graduated with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.

Upon arriving in the U.S. in 1956, he was employed by the state of N.M. Highway Dept. in Farmington, where he became Project Engineer. He was involved in building many roads in the area.

He married Anice Peterson on October 25, 1959, in Deer Park, California. She survives him at the home in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Otto had been employed by the New Mexico State highway Dept. as a Project Engineer.

In 1959, he married Anice Peterson. To them were born two sons, Trenton and Travis. In 1958 the family moved to New York State where Otto became Vice President of a Swiss Engineering company, Kern Instruments.

Survivors include his wife, Anice and 2 sons: Trenton Leslie Schwarzer of Charleston, TN, and Travis Patty and twin grandchildren Kelly-Anne and Daniel Schwarzer of Ooltewah, TN: and his two daughters: Edith Volpi Ivan and Beatrice Braendli, and their children and grandchildren all of Switzerland; Also surviving are two brothers; Ernst Schwarzer of Dallas, TX, and Erwin Schwarzer of Schaffhausen, Switzerland and 2 sisters; Ruth Feracin and Nelly Rizzolo both of Beringen, Switzerland

A Memorial Service will be held at the Roswell Seventh-day Adventist Church at 2915 S. Union and Jaffa on Sabbath, May 16th at 3:00 P.M.
