FUQUA, PAT L. Pat L. Fuqua, age 83 of Roswell, went to be with his Lord April 4, 2009. Graveside services are set for Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at 1:00 P. M. at South Park Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev Bill Jones and Rev Richard Smith.

Pat was born March 7, 1926 in Luling, Texas to Leslie and Alice Hand Fuqua. Both parents have preceded him in death. On November 1, 1980, he married Dorothy Reynolds.

Pat was retired from the New Mexico Department of Transportation; he had worked for them 17 years at his time of retirement. He was veteran of the U. S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy of the family home; two stepsons, Bill Ward and Wesley Needham, stepdaughter, Jana Bartlett; brother, Raymond F. Fuqua of Odessa, TX. Also surviving him are three sisters; Maurine Sorensen of Colordo Springs, CO, Lillian Clary of Luling, TX and Betty Kenyon as well as five grandchildren. A stepdaughter, Lynda Swafford , brothers Morris K Fuqua and David G Fuqua have also preceded him in death.
