WILSON, PATRICIA PAT LEE Graveside Services will be held at South Park Cemetery, for Pat Lee Wilson, age 65, of Roswell, on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., who passed away on August 28, 2014, in Roswell. Pastor Troy Grant will be officiating.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 5:00p.m to 7:00p.m at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
She was born March 14, 1949 in Roswell, New Mexico to Jack Clyde and Beulah Head Sanders. She was one of four children. Pat married Joseph Samuel Wilson on June 4, 1971 in Roswell, New Mexico.
Pat was a member of the Jewish faith. She lived her life as a reflection of her special relationship with God, and though her actions, always strove to embody the teachings of the Torah. Pat loved animals, and was a devoted mother who took much pleasure in the company of her family and friends. She always saw herself as a country girl and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. Pat liked both types of music Country and Western. Pat found happiness in living a simple life and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Pat held a special place in her heart for two generations of neighborhood children as they grew to adulthood.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy and her husband Todd Roen of Harker Heights, Texas her chosen son, Milton, his wife Kelli Harper and their 2 children of Roswell, New Mexico a brother, Tommy and his wife Margie Sanders of Roswell, New Mexico
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Henry Sanders and a sister, Anna Cosper.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in her name to The American Diabetes Association 2625 Pennsylvania Street St NE 300 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87110 , The Roswell Humane Society 703 E McGaffey St in Roswell, NM 88203.
