BODOCSI, PAUL STEPHEN Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Paul Stephen Bodocsi, age 98, of Roswell who passed away on February 10, 2014. Fr. Joe Pacquin will be the celebrant with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.
Paul was born on October 12, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio to Paul and Roze Bodocsi. They have both preceded him in death.
Paul met and then later married Virginia Howard in Portland, Oregon on March 25, 1944. She also has preceded him in death, as well as a brother, Joseph Toth.
He served as a First Sergeant in the United States Army. He spent one year in the Civilian Conservation Corp. In his time in the Army, he received the European Theatre of War Ribbon, European Theatre Campaign Medal with three Battle Stars, Bronze Star for service beyond the call of duty from President Harry S. Truman, World War II Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Sharp Shooters Medal, Expert Infantrymans Medal, Expert Infantrymans Combat Medal. In civilian life, he was an Industrial Engineer in the aircraft industry. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.
Paul is survived by his nieces and nephew in California.
