Pedro Aranda

ARANDA, PEDRO U. A Rosary will be prayed at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and A Resurrection Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Johns Catholic Church for Pedro U. Aranda, age 89, of Roswell, who passed away November 14, 2011 at a local nursing home. Fr. Juan Antonio Guiterrez, OFM will conduct the service, and burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Pedro was born January 31, 1922 in Baranco Azul, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Marcos and Bernarda Aranda. They have preceded him in death.

Pedro was of the Catholic Faith, and was a member of St. Johns Parish. He had been employed by the Roswell Schools for 20 years as a custodian.

He is survived by 1 brother, Cristin Aranda of Carlsbad, New Mexico 3 sisters Hilaria Buendia of Carlsbad, Alejandra Garcia of Roswell, and Lupe Mendoza of Pecos, Texas.
