Rachel Friend

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., on Friday, August 16, 2013 at South Park Cemetery for Rachel Littel Friend, age 84, of Roswell, who passed away on August 12, 2013 at her residence. Family will receive friends from 12:001:00 P.M. on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Lagrone Funeral Chapel. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate.

Rachel was born on June 7, 1929 in Indiana to Charles and Marie Gardener. They have both preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter: Marsha Smithyman of Roswell Grandchildren: John Gooding and his wife Janet of Portland, Oregon, Kimberlee Bouska and her husband Seth of Portland, Oregon and Tracy Haddadi and her husband David of Shawnee, Kansas also six great grandchildren.

She worked as a Lineworker making telephones for Western Electric. She was a member of the Eagles Club and served as Womens Auxiliary President from 199798. She also worked as a Gaming Cashier for the Eagles Club.
