ESPINOZA, REBECCA -- Rebecca Carrasco Espinoza went home to the Lord on January 9, 2009. Born in Canutillo, Texas on March 8, 1929, she passed away with many members of her family at her bedside at the age of 79 years young. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Juana Carrasco; her husband of 60 years, Amado Espinoza II; and brothers Enrique, Federico, and Pedro Carrasco.

Family was everything to Rebecca. Nana was very loving and giving to all she knew and she held the hearts of her family, their friends and her friends.

She is survived by daughter Sylvia Walsh, sons Amado Espinoza III and wife Nora; Ruben Espinoza and wife Linda; Patricio Espinoza and wife Trish; Lorenzo Espinoza and wife Revea; and step-daughter Gloria Marquez and husband Pete; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; her stepmother, Betzua Carrasco, brothers Ricardo, Carlos and Fernando Carrasco; sisters Mary Mijares, Beatrice Morales, Ima Rolph, Ida Carrasco and Betty Fierro; numerous nieces and nephews and her very special Chihuahua, Chula.
