Rita Pritchard

PRITCHARD, RITA- A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 PM, Monday, June 18, 2018 at South Park Cemetery for Rita Elizabeth Faucher Pritchard, age 96, of Roswell who passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018. Fr. Jaroslaw "Jarek" Nowacki from Assumption Catholic Church will officiate.

Rita was born October 10, 1921 in Holyoke, MA to Elizabeth Barnes Faucher and Reo Faucher. She married the love of her life, Stu Pritchard September 7, 1945.

The old adage, "the world is my oyster" could not be more appropriate for Rita. She traveled many roads, met many people and showed the wisdom and confidence of a seasoned road warrior. Along her journey her passion for cooking was influenced by the cultures she encountered. Meticulously writing recipes down she committed her ideas to paper and became a published author by releasing two cookbooks.

Rita was preceded by her husband, Stu Pritchard; her parents; granddaughter and brother, John Anselmo.

Ritas memory will be cherished by her sons, Guy Pritchard and wife, Glenda of Amarillo, TX; Stuart Pritchard and wife, Lois of Newport, OR; Kim Pritchard and wife, Helen of Roswell, NM; 7 grandchildren, Cory, Coby, Stephen, Victoria, Elizabeth, Erin and Evan; 4 great-grandchildren, Sean, Hannah, Hayley, Harper and brother, Frances Minahen.
