ANDERSON ROBERT HARLEY SLIM -- Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 16, 2007 at South Park Cemetery for Robert Harley Slim Anderson, age 89, of Lubbock, TX, who passed away February 9, 2007. Pastor Troy Grant of Berrendo Baptist Church will officiate.

Robert was born July 16, 1917 in Mills, New Mexico to Robert and Emma Anderson. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Robert married Verna Faye Hurford on January 17, 1938 in Clovis, New Mexico. She preceded him in death in 1998.

Survivors included his son: Robert Darrell Andy Anderson and his wife Sally, of Tupelo, Oklahoma; his daughter: Glynda Faye Reed and her husband Britt, of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Robert was a foreman for Smith Machinery for 33 years.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all his grandchildren.
