Robert Chipman

CHIPMAN, ROBERT BOB- Services are scheduled for 10:00 A. M., Thursday, December 21, 2006, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Robert Bob Chipman, age 88, of Roswell, who passed away December 17, 2006 at a local nursing home. Rev. Bill Jones of Tinnie Baptist Church will officiate.

Bob was born April 17, 1918 in Roswell to Hugh Chipman and Lillian Robinson Chipman, who have preceded him in death.

Bob married Thelma Millsap of Roswell in 1938 who preceded him death as well as a son, Louis H. Chipman.

Bob is survived by sons: R. E. Chip Chipman and his wife Diana of Stephenville, Texas and Gary Chipman and his wife Pamela of Cypress, Texas; daughter: Lillian Sissy Worthington of Artesia, New Mexico; grandchildren; Jamie Alonzo, Louis Chipman, Jason Chipman, Ashley Chipman, Jeff Christesson, Robin DeHoyos, Darrell Chipman, and Allison Chipman; great grandchildren: Brandon Stout, Justin Chipman, Cheyenne Christesson and Cameron DeHoyes.

Mr. Chipman was a long time resident of the Hondo Valley, Brand Inspector and a member of the Mounted Patrol, and an avid Polo Player.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
