MORRIS, ROBERT JOHN- Robert J. Morris, 88, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018, in Roswell, NM.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Grace Community Church, 10:00 AM, Friday, November 9, 2018.
Bob was born to William Henry and Lois Margaret Morris on April 6, 1930, in Farmington, Michigan. He graduated from Farmington High School and received an associates in Police Science. He enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Walker Air Force base in Roswell, NM from August 1947 to August 1951. In May 1960, Bob went to work as a deputy sheriff for L.A. County until retirement. After retirement, he worked for Devore Aviation and Loomis Fargo. Bob was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Experimental Aircraft Association, National Rifle Association and the Roswell Gun Club. He was an active member of Grace Community Church and Community Bible Study. He was an avid coin collector and loved to write letters to the editor.
Bob was a quiet, loving, and compassionate man. He loved and cherished his wife Barbara, his children and step children. He loved and cared for them all. His legacy will live on through all of them. Bob is survived by his sister Margery Farquhar of Farmington, Michigan; his beautiful wife Barbara of Roswell, NM.

He had numerous in-laws, out-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. So many, but he loved them all.
The best description of Robert J. Morris is Galatians 5:22.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law. Papa Bob this is who you are. We love you, we will miss you until we are together again in God's kingdom.
