Robert Norris

NORRIS, ROBERT BOB--Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, July 17, 2008 at South Park Cemetery, for Robert Bob Norris, age 72 of Dexter, who passed away July 13, 2008 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Jack Ferguson of Roswell will conduct the service.

Bob was born February 29, 1936 in Hulah, Oklahoma to Buel M. and Emma Dorothy DeCou Norris. His parents preceded him in death.

He married Jerrie Donnell on Jan. 9, 1983 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Other survivors include 2 sons; Robert Lee Norris, Sr. of Dexter, Daniel Dee Norris Sr., Temecula, CA. Also surviving are 2 daughters; Kathryn Hellberg of Rio Rancho, NM, Keila Joyce Brown, Lubbock, TX; two sisters; Carrie Ann Jackson of Lake Arthur, NM, and Opal Louise Peggy Cullivan of Bakersfield, CA, and 13 grandchildren.

Bob was an Electrician with Arco Electric for 40 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter.
