Robert Oswald

OSWALD, ROBERT JASON -- Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 14, 2006 at South Park Cemetery, for Jason Oswald, age 29, of Friona, Texas, who passed away December 10, 2006, in Friona. Dr. Ruth Fowler of Trinity United Methodist Church will conduct the service.

Jason was born August 3, 1977. His parents, Kenneth and Pamela Oswald survive him in Dexter.

Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Robert F. and Loveta Scribner of Roswell, step-brothers, Ken Oswald, Jr. of California, Troy Oswald of Colorado, and a step-sister, Suzanne Oswald of Roswell. He is also survived by Aunt and Uncles, Janet and Sid Thompson, and Robert Scribner, Jr. and Cousins Matthew and Robert Scribner III and his beloved dog Lucy.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Jayme Beth Oswald.

Jason was a Quality Control Supervisor with Excel Meats in Friona, and was of the Baptist Faith. He attended high school in Dexter where he participated in Boys Scouts, basket ball, and 4H. He and his sister won many awards with their prize winning rabbits.

Jason loved camping, hiking and playing video games and hanging out with his friends.

Jason was a kind, loving and gentle person, and the best son a mother could have. He will be greatly missed.
