Robert Ruzek

RUZEK, ROBERT BOB JOSEPH Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at West Alameda Church of Christ for Robert Bob Joseph Ruzek, age 69, of Roswell who passed away on January 8, 2013. Harry Tackett of West Alameda Church of Christ will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Robert will lie in state from noon Thursday, January 10, 2013 to time of service.

Robert was born on June 27, 1943 in Iowa City, Iowa to Francis and Virginia Ruzek. They have preceded him in death.

Robert married Becky on September 1, 1966 in Yuma, AZ. She survives him at the family home.

Robert was a retired Chaves County Detention Officer. He served his country in the United State Marine Corp. Robert was a Little League umpire and coach for the Stiles Field Baseball League.

Robert is also survived by a son: Ronnie Ruzek of Scott Air Force Base, Ill twin brother: Wayne Ruzek of Roswell sisters: Jean Goetz and her husband Don of Tipton, Iowa, Joan Pribyl and her husband Tom of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and numerous nieces and nephews.
