HEDRICK, ROBERTA S. -- No services are scheduled at this time, for Roberta Hedrick, age 90 of Roswell, who passed away April 5, 2007, at her home.

Roberta was born November 1, 1916 in Hope, Arkansas to Crit and Georgia Stuart. She attended school in Hope, Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas Presbyterian College. After graduation she worked for a law firm in Texarkana, Arkansas as a legal secretary. While there she met her future husband, Wyatt Hedrick. They were married at the chapel in Kirkland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 2, 1942. In 1947 they first came to Roswell where Wyatt was stationed with the 509th Bomb Wing, Walker AFB. In Roswell she worked for the Lay Firm of Hervey, Dowd Hinkle from 1947 to 1951, until their son was born. Wyatt was transferred in 1954 to the 47th Air Division in London, England. Roberta traveled to several countries in Europe and Asia. She and her husband were transferred to Japan in 1963, their son also accompanied them. They returned to Roswell in 1969 after his retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Wyatt of the family home, and a son, Wyatt Hedrick, Jr. and his wife Marcia of El Paso, Texas.
