Rodger Bensinger

BENSINGER, RODGER H. BUDMemorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Rodger H. Bensinger, age 71, of Roswell, who passed away July 5, 2007, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Bill Johnston of Artesia, NM will officiate.

Bud was born February 6, 1936 in Akron, Ohio to Lucian and Ruth Bensinger. They both have preceded him in death.

Bud married Nancy Harkus on January 20, 1957 in Cleveland, OH. She survives him at the family home.

Bud is also survived by three sons: Tom Bensinger of Roswell, Kenny Bensinger and his wife Anna of Roswell, and Ron Bensinger and his companion Lindsey Hane of LaMesa, CA; two daughters: Sheila Pena and her husband Martin of Roswell and Julie Bensinger and her companion Jack Brown of Roswell; Brother: Robert Bensinger; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Bud was self employed, he did home repair and maintenance. Bud was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Roswell Eagles and I.O.F.
