Rodolfo "Fito" Leyva

LEYVA, RODOLFO “FITO”-  Rodolfo “Fito” Leyva, age 57, of Dexter, NM passed on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Fito was born July 10, 1963 to Rodolfo Leyva Sr. and Maria Del Refugio Leyva Gomez in Mexicali, Baja California Mexico.

Those left to cherish Fito’s memory are, his wife, Guadalupe Leyva; son, Rodolfo Leyva; daughter, Claudia Leyva; daughter, Angelica Ruiz, son-in-law, Carlos Edward Ruiz, and granddaughter, Alyanna Marilu Ruiz.

Fito loved his family and friends with his entire heart. He was happiest when he could visit his hometown and would take the whole family to San Felipe. One of he’s main joys, was cooking and enjoying meals with loved ones. He was a hard-working man and entrepreneur. The most generous and genuine person you will have ever met.  Forever in our hearts.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Fito. Viewing for Fito will be held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a Rosary recited at 5:00 PM, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Ave Maria Center with Deacon Ernesto Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
