Rosemary Avery

AVERY, ROSEMARY A memorial service has been scheduled for Rosemary Avery, age 82, of Roswell, at 11:00 A. M., Friday, December 5, 2008 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Father Bob Tally will officiate. Mrs. Avery passed away at her home on November 29, 2008.

Mrs. Avery was born August 8, 1926 in Aurora, Missouri. She married Herbert Avery on November 9, 1957 in Roswell, New Mexico. He preceded her in death. She worked over thirty years as head of the Land Department for Harvey E. Yates Company. She was a member of the Republican Women, Friends of The Library and The Altrusa Club, of which she was a past President as well as a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Rosemary is survived by her son; Bryant Holman and wife Beronica of Presidio, Texas and daughter, Katherine Juestal and husband Werner of Carnarvan, Western Australia. Also surviving her are four Grandchildren; Waylon Holman, Bonnie Holman, Emily Scifres and Michael Holman, as well as four Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren.
