Roy Proctor

Memorial services are scheduled for 2pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Roy Anna Huff Proctor, age 79, who passed away on July 12, 2013 at her residence. Harold Hobson will officiate.

Roy Anna was born on December 15, 1933 in Artesia, New Mexico to Roy and Lena Ansley. While growing up, she and her family also lived in Clovis. While living in Clovis, she took piano lessons at Norman Petty Studio from Mrs. Petty. She enjoyed taking voice and piano lessons. She performed at several piano and voice recitals. She moved to Roswell during her high school years.

She married Harry Proctor in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Harry, along with her parents, and two brothers: Tommy and Billy Joe Ansley have preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter: Sheri Barrett two grandchildren: Andy Barrett of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Cody Barrett and his wife Whitney of Amarillo, Texas three great grandchildren: Rylie, Cade, and Bane Barrett, all of Amarillo, Texas.

She will greatly be missed by her family and many friends that she loved.
