HAY, RUBY HELEN HOWARD Graveside services for Ruby Helen Howard Hay, age 87, will be held 10:00 am on December 17, 2014 at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Rev. Richard Grisham will be officiating.
Ruby went home to the Lord on Friday, December 13, 2014 in Las Cruces, NM.
She was born March 29, 1926 in Colorado City, TX to Amanda and Elmer Howard, who have preceded her in death. She married Charles R. Hay in Roswell, NM. He also prededed her in death.
She is survived by her daughter Karen C. Hay of Las Cruces, N.M and her sister Christine Harrison and husband Wandal Lee Harrison of Roswell, NM. Also surviving are her nephews David Harrison and wife Jan of Lubbock, TX and Nathan Harrison and wife Jackey of Spring, TX and great nephews Jim Harrison and wife Anne, John Harrison and wife Mary, Luke Harrison and wife Amanda, Ben Harrison and wife Heather and Sam Harrison and wife Stephany all of Texas.
Ruby loved her 10 cats. She enjoyed reading and visiting with friends and loved ones.
She loved going to church and traveling. She was always glad to help anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
