Ruby Miller

MILLER, RUBY A. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2008 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park for Ruby A. Miller, age 97, of Roswell, who passed away on December 15, 2008 at a local care center.

Ruby was born August 4, 1911 in Cleburg, Texas to Alvin and Essie Floyd, they both have preceded her in death as well as a daughter Charline Holder, grandson, Yucca Lane Sartin, Darwin Miller Jr., granddaughter, Starlin Miller and great granddaughter, Shelly McKinney.

Ruby married Robert Miller on January 19, 1934 in Roswell, New Mexico. He has also preceded her in death.

Ruby was a Nurse at St. Marys Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary at the Eagles Lodge. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by her sons, Linton Miller and his wife Nancy of Roswell, Darwin Miller and his wife Betty of Roswell and Verlon Miller and his wife Alice of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren, Marvine and her husband Col. Jack Fox, Marlene and her husband Bill Been, Roberta and her husband Jim Elson, Leevo Jr. and his wife Pat Miller, Lavonne and her husband Greg Griffin, Scarlet Miller, Sharla and husband Joseph Carrillo, Denise and her husband Chris Young, Vernette and her husband Chris Mayes. Fifteen great grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren.
