HOLT, RUSSELL RUSS DWIGHT Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Russell Russ Dwight Holt, age 67 of Roswell, who passed away July 20, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. Rev. Jack Ferguson will Officiate.

Russ was born October 30, 1942 in Artesia to Cecil and Opal Holt. They have preceded him in death as well as a younger brother, Wesley Holt.

Russ married Dorothy Dottie Johnson on May 24, 1982. She survives him at the family home.

Russ was a plumber by trade who worked for Lum Plumbing in his early years and also Lott Pluming. In 1982 he established his own plumbing business, Russ Plumbing and Heating, which he ran until his retirement in 2005.

Russ was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time drinking beer with his best friend Jerry Stephens. He loved spending time at the lake house with his loving wife and family, and trolling in his boat with his fishing partner and brother in law, Bobby Johnson. Russ will be greatly missed by his loving family and all friends who knew him for the loving and kind person whom he was.

Survivors include daughters: Tammy East of Roswell, Sharon Martinez and her husband Paul of Roswell and Karen Wiley and her husband Mark of Henderson, NV stepsons: Kevin Dillon and his wife Cheryl of Roswell and Greg Hand of Harlingen, TX Brother: Donald Holt of Roswell Sister: Nadine Babbit of Lubbock, TX eight grandchildren: Daniel East, Mikeal East, Melonie Marcoma, Randy Alvarado, Sarah Pearson, Mathew Toby, Jennifer Martinez three step granddaughters: Breanna Dillon, McKeilah Dillon, Tiffanie Dillion and ten great grand kids whom he loved all very much.
