COOPER, RUTH VIRGINIA No local services will be held for Ruth Virginia Cooper of Roswell, who passed away October 27, 2007, at the age of 91.

Ruth Cooper was born April 23, 1916 to Henry and Elisabeth Currie in New York City, New York. She married Paul R. Cooper in 1946 in Binghamton, New York.

After a long military career in the U. S. Army, Paul and Ruth moved to Roswell in 1971. He passed away in 1990.

She is survived by one daughter, Paula Cooper of Pomma, California; two granddaughters and four great grandsons of California and Washington.

Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of La Grone Funeral Chapel.
