Sarah Irene Long

Sarah Long, 85, beloved Mother, Spouse, and Daughter, was called to her eternal resting place on July 18, 2023. She entered this world on April 24, 1938 in Lincoln, NM, born to John and Nellie Brinkley. 

She is survived by three daughters and three sons: Karl Long of Livingston, TX; Carmen (Ron) Schneider of Weaverville, CA; Brian Long of Roswell, NM; Stephen Long of Waterford, CA; Linda (Andre) Jensen of Sacramento, CA, and Julie (John) Donahue of Roswell, NM. She is survived by 14 grandchildren: Nathanael, Rebecca (Chris Hudson), Chad, Brendan, Bridget, Brian Morgan Alexander, and Lindsey (Alexander Malinski) Long, Adam (Jessica), Aaron (Alena), and Isaac (Shaylie) Schneider, Chantelle (Michael) Jameson, and Cameron, Benny, and Aidan Donahue, and 12 great grandchildren: Anthony, Seth, Hannah, Tristan, Gabriel, Makenzie, Paige, Phillip, Iris, Leeland, Jethro, and baby girl.
In addition, she is survived by her two youngest brothers; Donald Brinkley of Clarence, Iowa and Larry (Jeannie) Brinkley of San Antonio, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wayne, her oldest son Shawn Long, her parents and most of her siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Wildwood Community Chapel in Greeley Hill, CA. Burial immediately following at Dudley Cemetery.
