Sunny Villeda

VILLEDA, SUNNY KATHLEEN.Graveside services are being held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at South Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., for Sunny Kathleen Villeda, age 61, of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away at home, on July 20, 2014.
Born March 14, 1953, to Audrey Lee and Betty Lou Johnson in Roswell, New Mexico, Sunny married Victor Villeda on July 14, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois. The couple returned to Roswell in 1987.
Sunny was a homemaker, a loving wife and sister, a loyal friend, a helper of the homeless, and a rescuer of animals.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jack Claudia Johnson of Huntington Beach, California, and Leo and Helen Smith of Roswell, New Mexico, as well as her father Lee Johnson of Huntington Beach, California and her mother Betty Edwards of Roswell, New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Victor Villeda of Roswell, New Mexico, her sister Shelley Quinn and brotherinlaw J.D. Quinn of Benton, Illinois, and aunt Lola Johnson of Huntington Beach, California.
Sunny, whose nickname was Sunshine, will be remembered for her broad smile, humility, and bold witness for Christ.
