REED, IDA No services are scheduled at this time. A memorial graveside is scheduled for June 28, 2008 at the White Oaks Cemetery in White Oaks New Mexico for Ida Reed, age 91, of Roswell, who passed away March 7, 2008, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center.

Ida was born March 20, 1916 in Mills County, Texas to George and Susie Spencer, who have preceded her in death as well as a son Ray Reed, a special nephew, Leon Reed, three brothers and six sisters.

Ida married Clyde Casey Reed on October 28, 1933 in Clovis, New Mexico. He also has preceded her in death in January 1966.

Ida was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter: Joyce Earick and her husband Rex of Roswell; two sons: Hugh Reed and his wife Mary of Dexter and Kenneth Reed of Roswell; two brothers: Basiel Spencer and his wife Marie of Eugene, OR, and Charles Spencer and his wife Carol of Dallas, TX; One sister: Lynn Bridges of Alba, TX; also surviving her are 12 grandchildren, 21 great grand children and 4 great great grandchildren., and numerous nieces and nephew.
