BRAGG, LT. COL. SUZANNE SUZIE Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 25, 2008 at South Park Cemetery for Lt. Col. Suzanne Suzie Bragg, age 45, of Valrico, FL, who passed away April 18, 2008. Father Bob Tally will officiate, with military rites conducted by the U. S. Army Honor Guards.

Suzie was born December 11, 1962 to William D. and Claudette Bragg in Roswell, NM. Her father precedes her in death as well as a sister Georgeanna Bragg Sockwell, and a aunt and uncle, Margaret Owen and Robert Owen.

Suzie joined the U.S. Army in 1986 and has proudly served her country for the past 22 years.

Suzie is survived by her mother, Claudette Bragg of Roswell, New Mexico, her sister, Eva Bragg Uselton of Granger, Indiana; a brother in-law: Pete Sockwell;. She is also survived by two nephews: Travis Uselton and Calvin Uselton; a niece: Sarah Uselton.

Cousins: Bob Owen and his wife Laura of Minneapolis, MN, Bill Owen and his wife Kay of Roswell, Major General Tom Owen and his wife Mary Beth of GA, David Bonnie and his wife Nickie of Portales, NM, Glenda Mason and her husband Dave of LaGuna Nigel, CA, John Dolgan and his wife Barbara of Pueblo, Co; Aunts Pauline Middleton of Las Cruces, NM, and Patsy Bonner and her husband of Albuquerque, NM;

Suzie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy State University. Her military career includes Lance Missile Officer in Aschaffenburg, Germany, Assistant professor of Military Science for University of San Francisco, Ca. As Psychological operations officer she was deployed to Kuwait in 1997 as Air Liaison Officer. After many military assignments her latest was 5th Psychological operations Battalion Commander from 2005 to 2007. Her awards include the Legion of Merit posthumously, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Ach8ievement Medal and Master Parachutist Badge.

Suzie liked miniature trains, running marathons, triathlons, scuba
ing, and the rifle team, skeet shooting, bicycling and loved animals, especially horses and her cat.
