Ted Carroll

CARROLL, TED Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2014 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Ted Carroll, age 74, of Roswell who passed away on March 18, 2014. Mike Joy will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Roswell Veterans Honor Guard.

Family will meet and greet friends on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.

Ted was born in Elida, New Mexico on October 2, 1939 to Othelo Carroll and Lorena Haleyman. They have preceded him in death as well as two brothers, Everett and Bob Carroll.

Ted was a resident of Roswell, NM for over 50 years. He was a farmer and rancher north of Roswell. Ted was also a truck driver and worked for Roswell Livestock. Teds hobbies were raising goats and trading. He was a lifelong Christian.

Ted is survived by the love of his life and home, Johnnie son: Harlan Carroll and his wife Jaime of Las Vegas, Nevada two grandchildren: Caitlyn and Tanner Carroll six stepchildren: Stanley Carroll of West Virginia, Eugene Carroll of Roswell and Roy Carroll of GA, Holly Hoppes and her husband Mike of Hagerman, NM, Ken Crowell and his wife Amy of Marietta, Georgia, Rebecca Hlad and her husband Mike of Albuquerque and their families two brothers: Truett Carroll and his wife Regena and Jim Carroll both of La Junta, CO three sisters: Oneri McCrary of Hobbs, NM, Mary and her husband Dennis Stewart of Ruidoso, NM, and Margaret Carroll Stanley of Garland, TX nephews and nieces: Bobby Carroll and his wife Carol of Roswell, and David Carroll and his wife Jenny of Chino Valley, AZ Mark Stewart and his wife Lori of Ruidoso Kelly Stewart of Albuquerque, Dwight McCrary of Hobbs, Gaylon McCrary and his wife Rita of Austin, TX, Belinda Wink of San Diego, CA., Dick Carroll and his wife Mary of Cheraw, CO., and Alma Beth Case and her husband Dave of La Junta, CO. Last but not least are his furry friends Koko, Maggie and Tippy.

Pallbearers will be Harlan Carroll, Tanner Carroll, Bobby Brewer, David Lopez, Mike Hlad, Mike Hoppes and Bobby Carroll. Honorary Pallbearer will be Carl Durham and Ken Crowell.
