Thelma Fox

FOX, THELMA PAT MAEFuneral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Thelma Mae Fox , age 85, of Roswell who passed away peacefully at home with her family beside her on January 13, 2013. Doug Austin with Country Club Rd. Church of Christ will officiate.

Thelma was born October 9, 1927 in Post, TX to Clarence and Alma Furlong. They have preceded her in death as well as brothers, Truman and Kenneth and sister, Gloria Mendenhall.

Thelma married Dorman Fox on April 6, 1946 in Roswell. He also has preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons: Steve Fox and his wife Nancy of El Paso, TX and Jack Fox and his wife Marvine of Placitas, NM honorary daughter: Sharon Chrisman sisters: Helen Franklin of Artesia and Velma Midgie Crisp of Hondo, Texas Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Thelma was a housewife. She was a member of the Country Club Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, baking and reading. She took great pride in her family and extended church family.
