Theresa Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, THERESA MARGARET Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. by LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Theresa Margaret Fairfield, age 86, of Roswell, who passed from this earth on May 7th, 2011 in Roswell, NM. She was born October 9, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to Donato and Frances Giangiobbe.

Theresa married Oscar Fairfield on December 9, 1944. After they wed and because Oscar was a teacher, they moved from NY to Arkansas and from there they moved and lived in many states in the U.S. Finally, the family moved and settled in Roswell in the late 50s

Theresa was an outgoing, fun loving person who made people laugh all the time. She loved music and many times you could find her humming a tune or dancing to one. She would tell anyone who would listen, Im Italian and hold up her little first. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of Veteran of Foreign Wars.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar Fairfield, of Roswell sisters: Carmella Folan and Rose Marvin of Long Island, NY brother: John Giangiobbe of NJ sons: Steven Fairfield and wife Darlene, and David Fairfield of Roswell daughters: Linda Cole and husband Ben of Roswell, and Donna Wilson and husband Mike of Texas eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful, caring nurses and aides from Vista Care and La Villa who helped make our mothers last days comfortable.
